Position Overview

We are proactively identifying highly experienced Senior SAP Basis Administrators for a potential long-term enterprise SAP support and modernization engagement.

The selected professionals will support a large and complex SAP enterprise landscape encompassing SAP HANA, NetWeaver, ECC and related SAP technologies while contributing to the organization's longer-term transition toward SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP technologies.

We anticipate building a five-person senior SAP Basis team with complementary expertise across SAP platform administration, HANA, NetWeaver ABAP and Java, OpenText, SQL Server, SAP analytics platforms, integration infrastructure, high availability/disaster recovery, and S/4HANA migration.

Candidates do not need to possess every specialization listed below. We are seeking a team whose collective expertise provides comprehensive coverage across the required SAP technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain and support large-scale SAP production and non-production environments.
  • Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, patching, support-pack activities and technical lifecycle management.
  • Administer and support SAP HANA 2.0 databases and associated SAP applications.
  • Support SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java environments.

Work Schedule and Support Requirements

The anticipated engagement is expected to operate primarily during 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Depending on budget-cycle, project and production requirements, the selected professional may occasionally participate in planned after-hours deployments, maintenance activities, reporting deadlines or urgent production-support efforts.

The position is anticipated to be primarily remote. The candidate must, however, be able to provide occasional onsite support in San Diego, California, if required by the client.
